        Attendu que l'honorable Georgina M. Quijano est décédée le 17 janvier 2005, alors qu'elle occupait le poste de juge de la Cour suprême de la Colombie-Britannique,

                 À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) en vertu de l'article 44 de la Loi sur les juges, accorde à Barbara Ann Jordan-Knox, survivante de l’honorable Georgina M. Quijano, une pension viagère de 73 133,33 $, à compter du 18 janvier 2005;

b) en vertu de l'article 47 de la Loi sur les juges, accorde à la fille de Barbara Ann Jordan-Knox, Erin Jordana Baker, une pension annuelle de 14 626,66 $, à compter du 18 janvier 2005, laquelle pension continuera d’être versée pendant la période durant laquelle elle répondra à la définition d'enfant au sens de cette Loi.

                 Whereas the Honourable Georgina M. Quijano, a Judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, died on January 17, 2005, while holding that office;

                 Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, hereby

(a) pursuant to section 44 of the Judges Act, grants an annuity of $73,133.33 to Barbara Ann Jordan-Knox, the survivor of the Honourable Georgina M. Quijano, commencing on January 18, 2005 and continuing during her life; and

(b) pursuant to section 47 of the Judges Act, grants an annuity of $14,626.66 to Erin Jordana Baker, daughter of Barbara Ann Jordan-Knox, commencing on January 18, 2005 and continuing during the period that she is a child within the meaning of that Act.
