                     Whereas by Order in Council P.C. 2003-707 of May 15, 2003, the resignation of the Honourable Ralph E. Hudson as a Judge of the Supreme Court of the Yukon Territory was accepted and he was granted an annuity of $144,400, effective  

September 1, 2003;

                     And whereas the Honourable Ralph E. Hudson died on  

January 14, 2005 and is survived by a widow, Janis Hudson;

                     Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to section 44 of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of  

$72,200 to Janis Hudson, commencing on January 15, 2005 and continuing thenceforth during her life.

                    Attendu qu’en vertu du décret C.P. 2003-707 du  

15 mai 2003, la démission de l’honorable Ralph E. Hudson comme juge de la Cour suprême du territoire du Yukon a été acceptée et il recevait une pension de 144 400 $ depuis le 1^er septembre 2003;

                     Attendu que l’honorable Ralph E. Hudson est décédé le

14 janvier 2005 et que sa veuve, Janis Hudson, lui survit,

                     À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’article 44 de la Loi sur les juges,  

Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde une pension viagère de 72 200 $ à Janis Hudson, payable à compter du 15 janvier 2005.
