                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of State styled Deputy Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, Minister responsible for Official Languages, and Minister responsible for Democratic Reform, pursuant to subsection 24(1) of the Canada Elections Act, hereby appoints Laurie Dayboll, 10128 Lakeshore Road, Port Colborne, Ontario, to be the Returning Officer for the electoral district of Welland, as established in the Representation Order proclaimed on August 25, 2003.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre d’État portant le titre de leader adjoint du gouvernement à la Chambre des communes, ministre responsable des langues officielles, et ministre responsable de la réforme démocratique et en vertu du paragraphe 24(1) de la Loi électorale du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Laurie Dayboll, 10128, chemin Lakeshore, Port Colborne (Ontario), directeur du scrutin pour la circonscription électorale de Welland, tel qu’établi selon la proclamation de l’ordonnance de représentation en date du 25 août 2003.
