                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport and the Treasury Board, pursuant to section 48 of the Canada Transportation Act, hereby approves that the Minister of Transport enter into an agreement with the Government of Nunavut or its agent or instrumentality, for an amount not to exceed $200,000, substantially in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the annexed draft agreement, for the purpose of implementing a safety fitness framework under the National Safety Code for the fiscal years 2004-2005 to 2007-2008.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et du Conseil du Trésor et en vertu de l’article 48 de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve la conclusion par le ministre des Transports d’un accord avec le gouvernement du Nunavut, son mandataire ou un intermédiaire, qui est conforme en substance aux conditions figurant dans le projet d’accord ci-joint, qui prévoit un financement maximal de 200 000 $ et qui vise la mise en œuvre d’un cadre relatif à l’aptitude à la sécurité aux termes du Code canadien de sécurité durant les exercices de 2004-2005 à 2007-2008.
