                        Whereas, pursuant to subsection 11(3) of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, a copy of the proposed Regulations Amending the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (Expiration Date for Certain Technical Standards Documents), substantially in the form set out in the annexed Regulations, was published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on November 20, 2004 and a reasonable opportunity was thereby afforded to interested persons to make representations to the Minister of Transport with respect to the proposed Regulations;

                     Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to section 5 and subsection 11(1) of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (Expiration Date for Certain Technical Standards Documents).

                     Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 11(3) de la Loi sur la sécurité automobile, le projet de règlement intitulé Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur la sécurité des véhicules automobiles (date de cessation d’effet de certains documents de normes techniques), conforme en substance au texte ci-après, a été publié dans la Gazette du Canada Partie I le 20 novembre 2004 et que les intéressés ont ainsi eu la possibilité de présenter leurs observations à cet égard au ministre des Transports,

                     À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu de l’article 5 et du paragraphe 11(1) de la Loi sur la sécurité automobile, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur la sécurité des véhicules automobiles (date de cessation d’effet de certains documents de normes techniques), ci-après.
