                      Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 36 of the Broadcasting Act, hereby appoints Bernd Christmas of Halifax, Nova Scotia, to be a director of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to hold office during good behaviour for a term of three years, in the place of Clarence LeBreton, whose term has expired.
