                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, pursuant to Vote No. 1 (Foreign Affairs and International Trade) of Appropriation Act No. 2, 2004-2005, hereby appoints Karen Kraft Sloan as Ambassador for the Environment, to hold office for a term of four years, and fixes her salary as set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($127,500 - $150,000), effective February 16, 2005.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères et en vertu du crédit n^o 1 (Affaires étrangères et Commerce international) de la Loi de crédits n^o 2 pour 2004-2005, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Karen Kraft Sloan en qualité d’ambassadeur de l’Environnement, pour une période de quatre ans et fixe son traitement conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (127 500 $ - 150 000 $), à compter du 16 février 2005.
