Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, hereby:
(a) pursuant to Article IV, paragraph 1 of the Convention on Future Multilateral Cooperation in the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries, appoints Derrick Rowe of St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, as a Canadian representative to the General Council of the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization to hold office during pleasure for a term of two years, in the place of John R. Angel, whose term has expired; and
(b) pursuant to Article XIII, paragraph 2 of the Convention on Future Multilateral Cooperation in the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries, appoints Derrick Rowe of St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, as a Canadian representative to the Fisheries Commission of the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization to hold office during pleasure for a term of two years, in the place of John R. Angel, whose term has expired;
effective February 7, 2005.
Sur recommandation du ministre des Pêches et des Océans, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :
a) en vertu du paragraphe 1 de l’article IV de la Convention sur la future coopération multilatérale dans les pêches de l’Atlantique nord-ouest, nomme Derrick Rowe, de St. John’s (Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador), représentant canadien au Conseil général de l’Organisation des pêches de l’Atlantique nord-ouest, à titre amovible pour une période de deux ans, en remplacement de John R. Angel, dont le mandat a pris fin;
b) en vertu du paragraphe 2 de l’article XIII de la Convention sur la future coopération multilatérale dans les pêches de l’Atlantique nord-ouest, nomme Derrick Rowe, de St. John’s (Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador), représentant canadien à la Commission des pêches de l’Organisation des pêches de l’Atlantique nord-ouest, à titre amovible pour une période de deux ans, en remplacement de John R. Angel, dont le mandat a pris fin;
à compter du 7 février 2005.
