                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to sections 5 and 8 of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Act, hereby reappoints Dr. André Gravel of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Executive Vice-president of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, to hold office during pleasure for a term of two years, and fixes his remuneration as set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($143,800 - $169,200), effective April 3, 2005.

                     Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu des articles 5 et 8 de la Loi sur l'Agence canadienne d'inspection des aliments, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil renouvelle le mandat du D^r André Gravel, d’Ottawa (Ontario), premier vice-président de l'Agence canadienne d'inspection des aliments, à titre amovible pour une période de deux ans, et fixe sa rémunération conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (143 800 $ - 169 200 $), à compter du 3 avril 2005.
