                     Whereas, pursuant to subsection 20(1) of the Canada Post Corporation Act, a copy of the proposed Regulations Amending the Letter Mail Regulations, in the annexed form, was published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on June 26, 2004, and a reasonable opportunity was afforded to interested persons to make representations to the Minister of National Revenue with respect to the proposed Regulations;

                     Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue, pursuant to subsection 19(1) of the Canada Post Corporation Act, hereby approves the annexed Regulations Amending the Letter Mail Regulations, made on September 9, 2004, by the Canada Post Corporation.

                     Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 20(1) de la Loi sur la Société canadienne des postes, le projet de règlement intitulé Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur les envois poste-lettres, conforme au texte ci-après, a été publié dans la Gazette du Canada Partie I le 26 juin 2004 et que les intéressés ont ainsi eu la possibilité de présenter leurs observations à cet égard au ministre du Revenu national,

                     À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Revenu national et en vertu du paragraphe 19(1) de la Loi sur la Société canadienne des postes, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur les envois poste-lettres, ci-après, pris le 9 septembre 2004 par la Société canadienne des postes.
