                            Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 3 of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act, hereby appoints Janice Charette of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Deputy Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes her salary at the rate set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($180,500 - $212,300), effective December 20, 2004.

                     Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’article 3 de la Loi sur le ministère de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Janice Charette, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de sous-ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (180 500 $ - 212 300 $), à compter du 20 décembre 2004.
