                     Whereas the Honourable Ruston B. Lamb, a Puisne Judge of Superior Court for the Disctrict of Montréal in the Province of Quebec, attained the age of seventy-five years on April 11, 1990, retired on that date and was granted an annuity of $93,600.00 by Order in Council P.C. 1990-786 effective April 26, 1990;

                     And whereas the Honourable Ruston B. Lamb died on August 5, 2004 and is survived by a widow, Mary Labatt Lamb;

                     Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to section 44 of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $46,800.00 to Mary Labatt Lamb, commencing on August 6, 2004, and continuing during her life.

                     Attendu que l’honorable Ruston B. Lamb, un juge puîné de la Cour supérieure pour le district de Montréal dans la province de Québec, a atteint l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 11 avril 1990, a pris sa retraite le même jour et qu’une pension de 93 600,00 $ lui a été accordée par le décret C.P. 1990-786 du 26 avril 1990;

                     Attendu que l’honorable Ruston B. Lamb est décédé le  

5 août 2004 et que sa veuve, Mary Labatt Lamb, lui survit,

                     À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’article 44 de la Loi sur les juges,  

Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde une pension viagère de 46 800,00 $ à Mary Labatt Lamb, payable à compter du 6 août 2004.
