Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes that Minister
(a) firstly,
(i) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the exchange of notes constituting an Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of Ukraine to secure ownership of Land by the Crown for use as the Chancery in Kiev, Ukraine, or
(ii) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Andrew Robinson, Ambassador of Canada to the State of Ukraine, or Donald Banks, Deputy Head of Mission, or Ian Dawson, Director General, Physical Resources Bureau, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, or David Preston, Director General, Central, East and South Europe Bureau, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Exchange of Notes constituting an agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the State of Ukraine to secure ownership of land by the Crown for use as the chancery in Kiev, Ukraine; and
(b) secondly, to take the action necessary to bring the Agreement into force for Canada.
Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci
a) premièrement,
(i) soit à signer, au nom du Canada, un échange de notes entre le Canada et l’Ukraine constituant un Accord de transfert du titre de propriété sur un terrain devant servir de chancellerie à Kiev (Ukraine),
(ii) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Andrew Robinson, ambassadeur du Canada auprès de l’Ukraine, Donald Banks, chef de mission adjoint, Ian Dawson, directeur général, Direction générale des biens, ministère des Affaires étrangères et du Commerce international, ou David Preston, directeur général, Direction générale de l’Europe centrale, de l’Est et du Sud, à signer cet échange de notes au nom du Canada;
b) deuxièmement, à prendre les mesures nécessaires à la mise en vigueur de l’Accord pour le Canada.
