                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes that Minister

(a) firstly,

(i) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, an Agreement on Bilateral Cooperation in Private Sector Industrial Research and Development between the Government of Canada and the Government of the State of Israel, or

(ii) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing John McNee, Assistant Deputy Minister, Africa and Middle East, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, or Mark Bailey, Director General, Middle East and North Africa Bureau, or Donald Sinclair, Ambassador of Canada to the State of Israel, or Henry Kolatacz, Minister-Counsellor, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, an Agreement on Bilateral Cooperation in Private Sector Industrial Research and Development between the Government of Canada and the Government of the State of Israel; and

(b) secondly, to take the action necessary to bring the Agreement into force for Canada.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) premièrement,

(i) soit à signer, au nom du Canada, l’Accord entre le Canada et l’État d’Israël sur la coopération bilatérale en matière de recherche et de développement industriels dans le secteur privé,

(ii) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant John McNee, sous-ministre adjoint, Afrique et Moyen-Orient, ministère des Affaires étrangères et du Commerce international, Mark Bailey, directeur général, Direction générale du Moyen-Orient et de l’Afrique du Nord, Donald Sinclair, ambassadeur du Canada auprès de l’État d’Israël, ou Henry Kolatacz, ministre-conseiller, à signer cet accord au nom du Canada;

b) deuxièmement, à prendre les mesures nécessaires à l’entrée en vigueur de l’Accord pour le Canada.
