                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to subsection 112(1) of the Public Safety Act, 2002 (the “Act”), assented to on May 6, 2004, being chapter 15 of the Statutes of Canada, 2004, hereby fixes December 1, 2004 as the day on which section 11.1 of the Marine Transportation Security Act, as enacted by section 73 of the Act, comes into force.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu du paragraphe 112(1) de la Loi de 2002 sur la sécurité publique (la « Loi »), sanctionnée le 6 mai 2004, chapitre 15 des Lois du Canada (2004), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fixe au 1^er décembre 2004 la date d’entrée en vigueur de l’article 11.1 de la Loi sur la sûreté du transport maritime, édicté par l’article 73 de la Loi.
