                        Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby

(a) pursuant to paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, transfers from the Minister of the Environment to the Minister of State to be styled Minister of State (Infrastructure and Communities) the control and supervision of the portion of the public service known as the Office of Infrastructure of Canada, and

(b) orders that the Minister of State to be styled Minister of State (Infrastructure and Communities) shall preside over the Office of Infrastructure of Canada,

effective July 20, 2004.

                     Sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) en vertu de l'alinéa 2a) de la Loi sur les restructurations et les transferts d'attributions dans l'administration publique, transfère du ministre de l'Environnement au ministre d'État portant le titre de ministre d'État (Infrastructure et Collectivités) la responsabilité à l'égard du secteur de l'administration publique connu sous le nom de Bureau de l'infrastructure du Canada;

b) place le Bureau de l'infrastructure du Canada sous l'autorité du ministre d'État portant le titre de ministre d'État (Infrastructure et Collectivités).

Ces mesures prennent effet le 20 juillet 2004.
