                     Whereas the Honourable Harold A. Hollinrake, a Justice of Appeal of the Court of Appeal for British Columbia, attained the age of seventy-five years on June 15, 2004, and, therefore, ceased to hold office on that date under the provisions of section 99 of the Constitution Act, 1867;

                     And whereas Mr. Justice Hollinrake has held judicial office for at least ten years;

                     Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $146,266.66 to the Honourable Harold A. Hollinrake, commencing on June 15, 2004 and continuing during his life.

                     Attendu que l’honorable Harold A. Hollinrake, juge d’appel à la Cour d’appel de la Colombie-Britannique, a atteint l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 15 juin 2004 et, en conséquence, a cessé d’occuper son poste à cette date en vertu de l’article 99 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

                     Attendu que le juge Hollinrake a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

                     À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges,  

Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde à l’honorable Harold A. Hollinrake, à titre viager, une pension annuelle  

de 146 266,66 $, payable à compter du 15 juin 2004.
