                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister for International Cooperation, pursuant to paragraph 33(1)(c) of the Parliament of Canada Act, hereby authorizes the trip to Georgia of the Honourable Jerry Grafstein, Senator, from March 26 to March 30, 2004, to lead the Short Term Observation Team of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe for the Georgian Parliamentary Elections.

                     Sur recommandation de la ministre de la Coopération internationale et en vertu de l’alinéa 33(1)c) de la Loi sur le Parlement du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise le voyage en Géorgie de l’honorable sénateur Jerry Grafstein, du 26 au 30 mars 2004, pour diriger pendant quelque temps un groupe d’observateurs de l’Organisation pour la sécurité et la coopération en Europe dans le cadre des élections législatives en Géorgie.
