                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 57 of An Act to establish the Library and Archives of Canada, to amend the Copyright Act and to amend certain Acts in consequence, assented to on April 22, 2004, being chapter 11 of the Statutes of Canada, 2004, hereby fixes May 21, 2004 as the day on which that Act comes into force, other than sections 21, 53 and 54, which came into force on assent.

                     Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’article 57 de la Loi constituant Bibliothèque et Archives du Canada, modifiant la Loi sur le droit d’auteur et modifiant certaines lois en conséquence, sanctionnée le 22 avril 2004, chapitre 11 des Lois du Canada (2004), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fixe au 21 mai 2004 la date d’entrée en vigueur de cette loi, à l’exception des articles 21, 53 et 54, lesquels sont entrés en vigueur à la sanction.
