Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport and the Treasury Board, pursuant to section 48 of the Canada Transportation Act, hereby
(a) approves that the Minister of Transport enter into contribution agreements, for a total amount not exceeding $24.4 million, under the Region and Remote Passenger Rail Services Contribution Program with the following parties, namely,
(i) Algoma Central Railway Inc.,
(ii) Ontario Northland Transportation Commission, and
(iii) the provinces, municipalities, First Nations, private enterprises, public or private transportation authorities or agencies, passenger rail service operators, railway line owners and not-for-profit organizations, that meet the requirements set out in the annexed schedule; and
(b) specifies that the agreements shall be substantially in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the annexed schedule.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et du Conseil du Trésor et en vertu de l'article 48 de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :
a) agrée que le ministre des Transports conclue avec les parties ci-après des accords de contribution dans le cadre du Programme de contributions aux services ferroviaires voyageurs dans les régions et les localités éloignées, lesquels accords ne doivent excéder au total 24,4 millions de dollars :
(i) Algoma Central Railway Inc.,
(ii) la Commission de transport Ontario Northland,
(iii) les provinces, les municipalités, les Premières Nations, les entreprises privées, les administrations et agences de transport des secteurs public et privé, les exploitants de services ferroviaires voyageurs, les propriétaires de ligne de chemin de fer et les organismes à but non lucratif, qui satisfont aux exigences figurant à l’annexe ci-jointe;
b) précise que ces accords doivent être conformes en substance aux conditions figurant à l’annexe ci-jointe.
