                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to sections 7 and 11 of the National Research Council Act, hereby appoints Michael Raymont of Ottawa, Ontario, as President of the National Research Council of Canada, on an acting basis, until such time as a President is appointed, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary as set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range GC 10 ($217,400 - $255,800), effective July 2, 2004.

                     Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu des articles 7 et 11 de la Loi sur le Conseil national de recherches, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Michael Raymont, d’Ottawa (Ontario), président du Conseil national de recherches du Canada, par intérim, jusqu’à ce qu’un président soit nommé, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GC 10 (217 400 $ - 255 800 $), à compter du 2 juillet 2004.
