                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to Privy Council Vote No. 1 of Appropriation Act No. 2, 1981-82, hereby appoints Ward P.D. Elcock of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Senior Advisor to the Privy Council Office, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary at the rate set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($180,500 - $212,300), effective May 31, 2004.

                     Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu du crédit n^o 1 du Conseil privé, de la Loi n^o 2 de 1981-82 portant affectation de crédits, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Ward P.D. Elcock d’Ottawa (Ontario), à titre de conseiller supérieur auprès du Bureau du Conseil privé, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement au taux spécifié à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (180 500 $ - 212 300 $), à compter du 31 mai 2004.
