                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, pursuant to subsections 4.1(1) and 7.1(1) of the Canada Agricultural Products Act, hereby re-appoints Thomas S. Barton, Q.C., of Ottawa, Ontario, as a full-time member and Chairperson of the Review Tribunal to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years, and fixes his salary and other employment conditions as set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range GCQ 5 ($115,300 - $135,700), effective May 4, 2004.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre de l'Agriculture et de l'Agroalimentaire et en vertu des paragraphes 4.1(1) et 7.1(1) de la Loi sur les produits agricoles au Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil renouvelle le mandat de Thomas S. Barton, c.r., d’Ottawa (Ontario), membre à temps plein et président de la Commission de révision à titre inamovible pour une période de cinq ans, et fixe son traitement et d’autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 5 (115 300 $ - 135 700 $), à compter du 4 mai 2004.
