                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 4 of the National Film Act, hereby appoints Esmeralda M.A. Thornhill of Halifax, Nova Scotia, to be a member of the National Film Board to hold office for a term of three years.
