                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue, pursuant to subsection 8(3) of the Canada Post Corporation Act, hereby approves the designation by the Board of Directors of the Canada Post Corporation of Anne Joynt of Ottawa, Ontario, to act, for a period exceeding ninety days, as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canada Post Corporation for the time being, during the period of suspension of the Honourable André Ouellet, P.C., Q.C., pursuant to Order in Council P.C. 2004-146 of February 24, 2004.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre du Revenu national et en vertu du paragraphe 8(3) de la Loi sur la Société canadienne des postes, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve la prorogation, au-delà du maximum de quatre-vingt-dix jours, de la désignation, par le conseil d’administration de la Société canadienne des postes, de Anne Joynt, d’Ottawa (Ontario), pour exercer par intérim les fonctions de président et premier dirigeant de la Société, pendant la période de suspension de l’honorable André Ouellet, c.p., c.r., en vertu du décret C.P. 2004-146 du 24 février 2004.
