                   Whereas the Honourable John David Bracco, a Justice of Appeal of the Court of Appeal of Alberta, attained the age of  

seventy-five years on March 31, 2000, retired on that date and was granted an annuity of $118,733.33 by Order in Council P.C. 2000-384 of March 23, 2000;

                   And whereas the Honourable John David Bracco died on January 25, 2004 and is survived by a widow, Laura M. Bracco;

                 Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to section 44 of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $59,366.66 to Laura M. Bracco, commencing on January 26, 2004, and continuing thenceforth during her life.

                  Attendu que l’honorable John David Bracco, juge d’appel de la Cour d’appel de l’Alberta, a atteint l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 31 mars 2000, a pris sa retraite le même jour et qu’une pension de 118 733,33 $ lui a été accordée par le décret C.P. 2000-384 du 23 mars 2000;

                   Attendu que le juge Bracco est décédé le 25 janvier 2004 et que sa veuve, Laura M. Bracco, lui survit,

                   À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’article 44 de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde une pension viagère de 59 366,66 $ à Laura M. Bracco, payable à compter du 26 janvier 2004.
