Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 3 of the Department of the Environment Act, hereby appoints Samy Watson of Carp, Ontario, to be Deputy Minister of the Environment, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary at the rate set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($180,500 - $212,300), effective May 10, 2004.

            Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’article 3 de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Environnement, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Samy Watson, de Carp (Ontario), au poste de sous-ministre de l’Environnement, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (180 500 $ - 212 300 $), à compter du 10 mai 2004.
