Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to the Special Appointment Regulations, No. 2004-2, hereby appoints Marie E. Fortier of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Deputy Minister (Intergovernmental Affairs), Privy Council Office, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes her salary and other employment conditions at the rate set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($180,500 - $ 212, 300), effective April 26, 2004.

                     Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu du Règlement n° 2004-2 portant affectation spéciale, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Marie E. Fortier, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de sous-ministre (Affaires intergouvernementales), Bureau du Conseil privé, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (180 500 $ - 212 300 $), à compter du 26 avril 2004.
