                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Instrument of Ratification of the Final Acts of the Plenipotentiary Conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), done at Marrakech on 18 October 2002, and to maintain Canada’s reservations and declaration with regard to the ITU Convention provisions adopted at the Conference.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise le ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, un instrument de ratification des Actes finals de la Conférence de plénipotentiaires de l’Union internationale des télécommunications (UIT), fait à Marrakech le 18 octobre 2002, et à maintenir les réserves et la déclaration du Canada à l’égard des dispositions de la Convention de l’UIT qui ont été adoptées lors de la Conférence.
