Whereas the Honourable Peter J. Dielschneider, a Judge of Her Majesty's Court of Queen's Bench for Saskatchewan, will attain the age of seventy-five years on January 7, 2003, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of section 99 of the Constitution Act, 1867;

And whereas the said Mr. Justice Dielschneider has held judicial office for at least ten years;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $140,133.33 to the Honourable Peter J. Dielschneider, commencing on January 7, 2003 and continuing thenceforth during his life.

Attendu que l'honorable Peter J. Dielschneider, juge de la Cour du Banc de la Reine de la Saskatchewan, atteindra l'âge de soixante-quinze ans le 7 janvier 2003 et, en conséquence, cessera d'occuper son poste à cette date en vertu de l'article 99 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

Attendu que ledit juge Dielschneider a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l'alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde à l'honorable Peter J. Dielschneider, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 140 133,33 $, payable à compter du 7 janvier 2003.
