                    Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, hereby transfers from the Department of Justice to the Department of the Solicitor General the control and supervision of the portion of the public service in the Department of Justice known as the National Crime Prevention Centre, effective December 12, 2003.

                     Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l'alinéa 2a) de la Loi sur les restructurations et les transferts d'attributions dans l'administration publique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil transfère du ministère de la Justice au ministère du Solliciteur général la responsabilité à l'égard du secteur de l'administration publique connu, au sein du ministère de la Justice, sous le nom de Centre national de prévention du crime, avec prise d'effet le 12 décembre 2003.
