Her Excellency the Governor General in Council,

on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, pursuant to section 2 of An Act to amend the International Boundary Waters Treaty Act, assented to on December 18, 2001, being chapter 40 of the Statutes of Canada, 2001, hereby fixes December 9, 2002 as the day on which that Act comes into force.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères et en vertu de l'article 2 de la Loi modifiant la Loi du traité des eaux limitrophes internationales, sanctionnée le 18 décembre 2001, chapitre 40 des Lois du Canada (2001), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fixe au 9 décembre 2002 la date d'entrée en vigueur de cette loi.
