                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council,

on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to

paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and

Transfer of Duties Act, hereby transfers from the Treasury

Board Secretariat to the Department of Public Works and

Government Services the control and supervision of those

portions of the public service in the Chief Information Officer

Branch of the Treasury Board Secretariat known as 

                   (a) GOL Analysis,

                   (b) Gateways and Clusters,

                   (c) GOL Assistant Secretary's Office,

(d) Service Delivery Improvement Division,

(e) Secure Channel Client Engagement and Secure Channel Project Management Office,

                   (f) Organizational Readiness Division, and

(g) Communications and Public Relations,

effective December 12, 2003.

                   Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l'alinéa 2a) de la Loi sur les restructurations et les transferts d'attributions dans l'administration publique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil transfère du Secrétariat du Conseil du Trésor au ministère des Travaux publics et des Services gouvernementaux la responsabilité à l'égard des secteurs ci-après de l'administration publique qui font partie de la Direction du dirigeant principal de l'information du Secrétariat du Conseil du Trésor :

a) GED — analyse;

b) Portails et regroupement;

                   c) GED — Bureau du secrétaire adjoint;

                   d) Amélioration de la prestation de services;

e) Voie de communication protégée, Engagement des clients, Projet de la Voie de communication protégée, Bureau de la gestion;

                   f) Gestion du changement;

g) Communications et relations publiques.

Cette mesure prend effet le 12 décembre 2003.
