                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to Vote No. 1 (Foreign Affairs) of Appropriation Act No. 2, 2003-2004, hereby

appoints Jack Anawak as Ambassador for Circumpolar Affairs, to hold office during pleasure for a term of four years, and fixes his salary at the rate set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($108,900 - $128,200), effective January 19, 2004.

                     Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu du crédit n° 1 (Affaires étrangères) de la Loi de crédits n° 2 pour 2003-2004, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Jack Anawak, ambassadeur aux Affaires circumpolaires, à titre amovible pour un mandat de quatre ans, et fixe sa rémunération au taux spécifié à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (108 900 $ - 128 200 $), à compter du 19 janvier 2004.
