                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of State and Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, pursuant to subsection 24(1) of the Canada Elections Act, hereby appoints Carolyn Campbell, 171 Edwardson Road, R.R. 1, Grafton, Ontario, to be the Returning Officer for the electoral district of Northumberland, as established in the Representation Order proclaimed on January 8, 1996.
