                     Whereas by Order in Council P.C. 2003-1646 of October 28, 2003, Susan Kular, of 112 Sweetbriar Court, Pickering, Ontario, was appointed Returning Officer for the electoral district of Ajax–Pickering;

                     And whereas the ordinary residence of this Returning Officer is not located in the electoral district for which she was appointed;

                     Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of State and Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, pursuant to subsection 24(1) of the Canada Elections Act, hereby terminates the appointment of Susan Kular as Returning Officer for the electoral district of Ajax–Pickering, which electoral district was established in the Representation Order proclaimed on August 25, 2003.

                     Attendu que par le décret C.P. 2003-1646 du 28 octobre 2003, Susan Kular, de 112, cour Sweetbriar, Pickering (Ontario), fut nommée directeur du scrutin pour la circonscription électorale de Ajax–Pickering;

                     Attendu que cette personne ne réside pas dans la circonscription électorale pour laquelle elle a été nommée,

                     À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre d’État et leader du gouvernement à la Chambre des communes et en vertu du paragraphe 24(1) de la Loi électorale du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil met fin à la nomination de Susan Kular à titre de directeur du scrutin pour la circonscription électorale de Ajax–Pickering, tel qu’établi selon la proclamation de l’ordonnance de représentation en date du 25 août 2003.
