                 Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 8 of the Heritage Railway Stations Protection Act, hereby authorizes the Canadian National Railway Company to install a new kiosk for the Agence métropolitaine de transport at the Central Station, Montréal, Quebec, in the manner described in the annexed schedule.

                 Sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 8 de la Loi sur la protection des gares ferroviaires patrimoniales, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise la Compagnie des chemins de fer nationaux du Canada à installer un nouveau kiosque pour l’Agence métropolitaine de transport à la gare Centrale de Montréal (Québec) conformément aux conditions figurant à l’annexe ci-jointe.

                                           SCHEDULE

          The Canadian National Railway Company is authorized to install a new kiosk for the Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) at the Central Station in Montréal, Quebec in the following manner:

(a) to renovate the former temporary VIAPAQ kiosk to transform it into a temporary AMT ticket and information booth, within the footprint of the former VIAPAQ kiosk;

(b) to replace this temporary AMT kiosk with a new one as soon as a suitable location is available in sector B.2 of the station; and

(c) to remove the present AMT kiosk as soon as the new temporary kiosk is functional.

          The work must be completed in accordance with the recommendations contained in the review of alterations reports prepared by Parks Canada for the project.

                                                ANNEXE

        La Compagnie des chemins de fer nationaux du Canada est autorisée à procéder à l’installation d’un nouveau kiosque pour l’Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) à la gare Centrale de Monstréal (Québec) aux conditions suivantes :

a) rénover, sans en modifier les dimensions, l’ancien kiosque temporaire de VIAPAQ afin de le transformer en un kiosque temporaire pour l’information et la vente de billets de l’AMT;

b) remplacer ce kiosque temporaire utilisé par l’AMT par un nouveau kiosque dès qu’un espace convenable est disponible dans le secteur B.2 de la gare;

c) enlever le kiosque actuel de l’AMT dès que le nouveau kiosque temporaire est fonctionnel.

        Les travaux devront être réalisés en accord avec les recommandations contenues dans les rapports d’examen de modifications préparés par Parcs Canada pour ce projet.
