                 Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 593 of the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada Act (“the Act”), assented to on June 14, 2001, being chapter 9 of the Statutes of Canada, 2001, hereby fixes January 1, 2004 as the day on which the following provisions come into force:

 

(a) section 107 of the Act;

 

(b) sections 383 to 383.2 of the Cooperative Credit Associations Act, as enacted by section 311 of the Act; and

 

(c) sections 418 and 534 of the Act.


                 Sur recommandation du ministre des Finances et en vertu de l’article 593 de la Loi sur l’Agence de la consommation en matière financière du Canada (la « Loi »), sanctionnée le 14 juin 2001, chapitre 9 des Lois du Canada (2001), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fixe au 1er janvier 2004 la date d’entrée en vigueur des dispositions suivantes :

 

a) l’article 107 de la Loi;

 

b) les articles 383 à 383.2 de la Loi sur les associations coopératives de crédit, édictés par l’article 311 de la Loi;

 

c) les articles 418 et 534 de la Loi.
