Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness,

(a) under subsection 6(3) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, appoints John William Matthew Brewer of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to the rank of Deputy Commissioner, to hold office during pleasure for a term of 12 months; and

(b) under subsection 6.1(1) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, designates John William Matthew Brewer of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to be Commanding Officer, “E” Division, for British Columbia, to hold office during pleasure for a term of 12 months, and fixes his remuneration within the range of $217,705 to $256,893, effective August 13, 2026.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) en vertu du paragraphe 6(3) de la Loi sur la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, nomme, à titre amovible pour une période de douze mois, John William Matthew Brewer de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada au grade de sous-commissaire;

b) en vertu du paragraphe 6.1(1) de la Loi sur la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, désigne, à titre amovible pour une période de douze mois, John William Matthew Brewer de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada comme officier commandant de la division « E » pour la Colombie-Britannique et fixe sa rémunération dans l’échelle de 217 705 $ à 256 893 $, avec prise d’effet le 13 août 2026.
