Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Employment and Social Development, under subsections 11(1) and 11(2) of the Canada Early Learning and Child Care Act, appoints Christopher James Smith of Edmonton, Alberta, to be a part-time member of the National Advisory Council on Early Learning and Child Care, to hold office during pleasure for a term of two years, effective October 1, 2026.
