Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, under sections 158, 160 and 163 of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act, appoints David Paradiso of Victoria, British Columbia, to be Correctional Investigator of Canada, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($225,300 - $264,000), effective October 13, 2026.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile, en vertu des articles 158, 160 et 163 de la Loi sur le système correctionnel et la mise en liberté sous condition, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme David Paradiso, de Victoria (Colombie-Britannique), enquêteur correctionnel du Canada, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de cinq ans et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (225 300 $ – 264 000 $), à compter du 13 octobre 2026.
