Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Employment and Social Development, under sections 11 and 12 of the Canada Early Learning and Child Care Act, appoints Donald Giesbrecht of Winnipeg, Manitoba, to be a full-time Chairperson of the National Advisory Council on Early Learning and Child Care, to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 4 ($160,400 - $188,600) effective October 19, 2026.
