Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the President of the King’s Privy Council for Canada:

(a) under subsection 15(1) of the Invest in Canada Act, appoints Gurinder Grewal of Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America, to be Chief Executive Officer of the Invest in Canada Hub, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years;

(b) under subsection 15(3) of the Invest in Canada Act, fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GC 8 ($253,300 - $298,000); and

(c) under subsection 22(1) of the Invest in Canada Act, orders that Gurinder Grewal be deemed to be employed in the Public Service for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act;

effective September 3, 2026.

Sur recommandation du président du Conseil privé du Roi pour le Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) en vertu du paragraphe 15(1) de la Loi sur Investir au Canada, nomme Gurinder Grewal, de Boston, Massachusetts, (États-Unis d’Amérique), président-directeur général d’Investir au Canada, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b) en vertu du paragraphe 15(3) de la Loi sur Investir au Canada, fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GC 8 (253 300 $ – 298 000 $);

c) en vertu du paragraphe 22(1) de la Loi sur Investir au Canada, ordonne que Gurinder Grewal soit réputé faire partie de la fonction publique pour l’application de la Loi sur la pension de la fonction publique;

à compter du 3 septembre 2026.
