Whereas the Sydney and Area Chamber of Commerce, in Nova Scotia, has applied, under section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act, to change its name to the “Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce”;

And whereas the Governor in Council is satisfied that the name change is not desired for any improper purpose and is not otherwise objectionable;

Therefore, SEQ CHAPTER \h \r 1Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, approves the application by the Sydney and Area Chamber of Commerce to change its name to the “Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce” under section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act.

Attendu que la Sydney and Area Chamber of Commerce (Nouvelle-Écosse) a présenté, au titre de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, une demande visant à faire changer sa dénomination pour « Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce »;

Attendu que la gouverneure en conseil est convaincue que le changement de dénomination n’est pas recherché dans un but irrégulier et n’est pas autrement susceptible d’objection,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre de l’Industrie et en vertu de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve la demande de la Sydney and Area Chamber of Commerce visant à faire changer sa dénomination pour « Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce ».
