                 Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Prime Minister, or the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Instrument of Ratification for the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, with a Declaration.
