Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes

(a) the Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification,the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the Republic of Ecuador; or

(b) the Minister of Foreign Affairs to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Maninder Sidhu, Minister for International Trade; Glenn Purves, Deputy Minister for International Trade; or Aaron Fowler, Associate Assistant Deputy Minister, International Trade Branch and Chief Trade Negotiator, Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development, to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification, the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the Republic of Ecuador.

Sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise :

a) soit le premier ministre ou la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer, au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de libre-échange entre le Canada et la République de l’Équateur;

b) soit la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Maninder Sidhu, ministre du Commerce international, Glenn Purves, sous-ministre du Commerce international, ou Aaron Fowler, sous-ministre adjoint associé, Secteur du commerce international et négociateur commercial en chef, ministère des Affaires étrangères, du Commerce et du Développement, à signer, au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de libre-échange entre le Canada et la République de l’Équateur.
