Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, after consultation with a variety of Indigenous governments and other Indigenous governing bodies and a variety of Indigenous organizations, under sections 13 and 19 of the Indigenous Languages Act, appoints Candice St-Aubin of Gatineau, Quebec, to be Commissioner of Indigenous Languages, on an interim basis, to hold office during good behavior for a term of ninety days or until she is no longer required to act as Commissioner, whichever occurs first, and fixes her remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 6 ($225,300 - $265,000), effective July 13, 2026.

Sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien, après consultation auprès de divers gouvernements autochtones et autres corps dirigeants autochtones ainsi que divers organismes autochtones, en vertu des articles 13 et 19 de la Loi sur les langues autochtones, Son Excellence la gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Candice St‑Aubin, de Gatineau (Québec), commissaire aux langues autochtones par intérim, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de quatre-vingt-dix jours ou jusqu’à ce qu’il ne soit plus nécessaire pour elle d’agir à ce titre, selon la première de ces éventualités, et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 6 (225 300 $ – 265 000 $), à compter du 13 juillet 2026.
