Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport:

(a) under subsections 7(2) and 8(1) of the Canada Transportation Act, appoints Alain Langlois of Chelsea, Quebec, to be a member of the Canadian Transportation Agency, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years;

(b) under subsection 7(3) of the Canada Transportation Act, designates Alain Langlois as Chairperson of the Canadian Transportation Agency; and

(c) under section 11 of the Canada Transportation Act, fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 9 ($341,800 - $402,100);

effective June 1, 2026.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) en vertu des paragraphes 7(2) et 8(1) de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, nomme Alain Langlois, de Chelsea (Québec), membre de l'Office des transports du Canada, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b) en vertu du paragraphe 7(3) de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, désigne Alain Langlois à titre de président de l’Office des transports du Canada;

c) en vertu de l’article 11 de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 9 (341 800 $ – 402 100 $);

à compter du 1^er juin 2026.
