Whereas the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Quebec has nominated Sylvain Roy to be a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Committee for the Province of Quebec - East;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, under Order in Council P.C. 2017-10 of January 19, 2017, appoints Sylvain Roy of Escuminac, Quebec, to be a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Committee for the Province of Quebec - East, to hold office during pleasure for a term ending on April 30, 2027.

Attendu que le ministre de la Justice et procureur général du Québec a proposé que Sylvain Roy soit nommé membre du Comité consultatif indépendant à la magistrature pour la province de Québec – est;

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil, en vertu du décret C.P. 2017-10 du 19 janvier 2017, nomme Sylvain Roy, d’Escuminac (Québec), membre du Comité consultatif indépendant à la magistrature pour la province de Québec – est, à titre amovible pour un mandat se terminant le 30 avril 2027.
