Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes

(a) the Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between Canada and the Oriental Republic of Uruguay on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Customs Matters; or

(b) the Minister of Foreign Affairs to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Gary Anandasangaree, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness; Erin O’Gorman, President of the Canada Border Services Agency; Kelly Acton, Vice-President, Strategic Policy Branch, Canada Border Services Agency; Jennifer Lutfallah, Vice-President, Commercial and Trade Branch, Canada Border Services Agency; or Carmen Sorger, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between Canada and the Oriental Republic of Uruguay on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Customs Matters.

Sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise :

a) soit le premier ministre ou la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer, au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le Canada et la République orientale de l’Uruguay concernant l’assistance administrative mutuelle en matière douanière;

b) soit la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Gary Anandasangaree, ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile, Erin O’Gorman, présidente de l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada, Kelly Acton, vice-présidente, Direction générale de la politique stratégique, Agence des services frontaliers du Canada, Jennifer Lutfallah, vice-présidente de la Direction générale du secteur commercial et des échanges commerciaux, Agence des services frontaliers du Canada, ou Carmen Sorger, ambassadrice extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire du Canada auprès de la République orientale de l’Uruguay, à signer, au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le Canada et la République orientale de l’Uruguay concernant l’assistance administrative mutuelle en matière douanière.
